Cooper’s Deli and Pub robbed

Cooper’s Deli and Pub in north Keizer was robbed the night after Christmas. Keizer Police reported someone called about a robbery at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, at the pub. According to the victim, a Hispanic man came in, pointed a handgun at her and demanded she open the cash register. The suspect took money from the register and left. No one was hurt, but there was a customer inside. Police were unable to locate the suspect after a Salem Police K-9 search. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his 20s, standing between 6 feet and 6 feet, two inches tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds with a medium build. He has black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. At the time he was wearing dark blue jeans, a black short-sleeve t-shirt over a long-sleeve gray undershirt, and a dark gray stocking cap.
