To the Editor:

Perhaps many of you already know. Jim Dyer is running for House District 25 which consists of Keizer, St. Paul and Newberg.

I met Jim when I first ran for a seat in the Oregon House. Jim has been very active in his community serving on several nonprofit boards and committees. He received an award for service to the community this year from the Keizer Chamber of Commerce. He has now decided to expand his community service and run for the state legislature. I support his decision. His work in the community gives him an understanding of the District’s needs and interests. I know him to be a person that is analytical and is knowledgeable on a wide range of issues. He is a hard worker. Voting for Jim to represent District 25 will be a vote for good legislation.
